ABOUT RED THREAD
I like people who
build things.
I’ve always admired people willing to bet on an idea and keep building when the path is not obvious. I understand that kind of work because I’ve done it too, building and eventually selling a business of my own.
I also know how quickly the digital side can become a second job. I bring it into focus so it supports where your business is going, helps the right people find and choose you, and gives you more time for the work that made you start in the first place.

BEFORE RED THREAD
I’ve sat in
your seat.
I was raised by entrepreneurs, so building something of your own never felt unusual to me. Around our dinner table, conversations were about customers, new ideas, setbacks, and what it took to make something work.
Eventually, my sister and I built a business of our own. Personally Preppy was a monogrammed equestrian company that taught us ecommerce, marketing, customer experience, and the particular challenge of making decisions when every decision is yours.
We grew it, learned as we went, and successfully sold it a few years later.
That experience still shapes how I work. I understand why the details matter, why every investment feels personal, and why your time may be the most valuable thing your business has.
PERSONALLY PREPPY
Built. Learned. Sold.
A MONOGRAMMED EQUESTRIAN COMPANY
THE DIGITAL SIDE
The tools change.
The important questions don’t.
For more than a decade, I’ve helped businesses and organizations make sense of websites, search visibility, analytics, email, and digital marketing.
That experience has taught me that the technology is rarely the starting point. The business is. Once I understand what you are building and who you are trying to reach, I can recommend the right pieces and leave the rest alone.
How do the right people find us?
01
Does our website make it clear why they should choose us?
02
Do they know what to do next?

THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME
“What’s the red thread that ties it all together?”
Before I think about a website, Google, email, or marketing, I want to understand the business. What do you offer? Why do people choose you? Who are you trying to reach? Where are you hoping to go?
The red thread is the clear idea connecting those answers. Once we find it, we can carry it through your message, your website, and the way customers discover and experience your business
It is a question I ask all the time.
HOW I WORK
Thoughtful advice.
Clear next steps.
You do not need to arrive with finished copy, organized ideas, or the right technical vocabulary. Tell me about the business in your own words.
01
I listen first.
I make thoughtful recommendations.
02
Sometimes the answer is a new website. Sometimes it is fixing what you have, improving how people find you, or deciding what can wait.
I leave you with something you can use.
03
The digital side should support your business without becoming another job. I build thoughtfully, explain clearly, and make sure you know how everything works.
